Barton High School would like to announce our very own certified UAS Remote Pilot. Clifton Hansberry, 10th grader at Barton High School, passed the Part 107 exam to become the first student to earn the title as a UAS Remote Pilot. UAS stands for Unmanned Aerial System (DRONE). He was one of the first students who started with the program in 2017. Barton High School offers CTE(Career Tech Education) classes which include: Culinary, Furniture Manufacturing and Drone. This allows the students to receive certifications before graduating.
