On Saturday, November 16, 2019, Barton AP Students and Teachers began AP Prep Boot Camp at PCCUA in Helena.  AP Prep Boot Camp is a fun, exciting jump-start to help prepare for the demands and rigor of AP Classes. Master teachers from all over the state provide engaging and beneficial skills to help students succeed in AP classes.  The AP sessions offered are AP Biology, AP Language, AP History, and AP Math. This Boot camp was made possible by the collaboration of AR AIMS, the Walton Family Foundation, and PCCUA.

There are drawings for electronic and gift cards at every session.  Students and Teachers who attend four of the five sessions will receive a $100/$150 gift certificates.  Students and Teachers who attend all five sessions will have their name put in a drawing for a laptop computer and additional door prizes.  Lunch, snacks, and free materials are provided at each session as well.

The following sessions will be from January through April 2020.  Specific dates will be announced at a later time.

We are excited about the Barton turn out for this AP event.  The Barton AP teachers who attended last Saturday with their students were David Chenault-AP Calculus, Gary Meyers-AP Biology, and Kathleen Trueblood-Ap Language.  Keep up the good work!!
