Barton School District Earns a “C” Rating
Dear Parents,
The Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) has released district letter grades for 2024–25 as part of the state’s updated accountability system.
Barton School District has received a “C” rating, reflecting the dedication of our students, teachers, and staff. The annual accountability report measures school and district performance in areas such as academic achievement and growth, post-secondary readiness through Merit and Distinction diplomas, and graduation rate.
We are proud of the progress our students continue to make and remain committed to providing high-quality instruction and meaningful learning opportunities for every student. While the rating highlights areas for growth, we also see it as an opportunity to strengthen our efforts and improve student outcomes.
