Dyslexia Intervention

Pursuant to Act 1039, Barton School District provided the following in regards to dyslexia;

During the 2021-2022 school year, Barton School District used the evidence-based Barton Reading and Spelling Program to address the deficit of students identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia. This program was just one of the resources used during the individual and or small group interventions.

Total number of students who received dyslexia intervention services from a trained dyslexia interventionist:

2021-2022: 32

2020-2021: 18

2019-2020: 16

2018-2019: 16

2017-2018: 8

2016-2017: 7
