Bridges and Newsom Become UAS Remote Pilots

Barton High School students have done it again!  Curtis Bridges an 11th grader and Brandon Newsom a 10th grader have passed their Part 107 exam to become certified UAS Remote Pilots for Phillips County.  Passing this test means that the students are licensed to operate  an Unmanned Aerial System commonly referred to as a DRONE.  "This makes three students who have become licensed  to operate a DRONE commercially this semester.  I look forward to many more students becoming certified in this field in the future," said Mrs. Debbie Young, drone instructor.  Barton High School is only one of five high schools in the state to offer this program to students.

Congratulations guys!!!!
