We are excited to announce the Bearcub Basketball League to all K-6th students!!

This league will serve as an instructional/competitive league coached by our very own Bears and Lady Bears senior high basketball teams. This League will be sponsored by our Barton Bears Booster Club.
K-2 will have a division and play on a 8’ goal. 3rd and 4th graders will have their own division while playing on a 10’ goal. 5th and 6th will have their own division while playing on a 10’ goal. All divisions will play with a size 6 ball which is referred to as a girls ball. Our school district believes this league will play an integral role in the development of our future basketball players. We would love to have as many teams as possible. Games will be played throughout the week. We will have an end of the year tournament also where trophies will be awarded to the winning teams. We will pass out the schedule of games and teams after tryouts.
Who is this for: Any student in K-6th grade in Barton School District
When: Evaluations- 12/13/23 3:15-5:00
**The evaluations are to determine skill level. ALL Participants will be placed on a team. Teams will be split up evenly based on the evaluations.
Where: Evaluations will be in the Elementary Gym (Games will be played in the big gym)

Cost: $20 for first child and $10 for each additional child
Money is due before the first game. CASH ONLY
