The Barton School District Family would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the Roy Kirkland family during this time of loss.
\r\nWhen someone mentions Barton School District, one of three, or all three names come to mind. Mr. Roy Kirkland is one of those names. He was employed by the Barton School District from 1968 to 2008. Mr. Kirkland was superintendent at Barton School District for 35 years and was high school principal for 5 years prior. We will greatly miss Mr. Kirkland and his visits to check in on us here at Barton. \r\n
