💉 Immunization Clinic Reminder
Barton Schools Immunization Clinic is this Wednesday, September 2!
📋 Forms are due TOMORROW, Tuesday, September 1. A completed form must be turned in for your student to receive an immunization.
💉 This clinic is only for students who need age appropriate required immunizations. Common ages when students may be due for required vaccines are around 4–6 years old, 11–12 years old, and 16 years old.
🚫 This is NOT a flu shot clinic.

🏈 Barton Bear Football Update 🏈
Barton School District would like to share an important update regarding our Senior High football program for the 2026 season.
Due to the number of available Senior High players this year, Barton does not have enough athletes to safely field an 11-man football team. As a result, we are working to transition our Senior High program to 8-man football for the 2026 season.
This change applies to Senior High football for the 2026 season only. Barton Bear Football is not going away, and our Junior High football program will continue to play 11-man football as scheduled.
Our coaching staff and administration are currently working to develop a new 8-man Senior High schedule. Because those details are still being finalized, the previously published Senior High football schedule is no longer current. We will share additional information and an updated schedule as soon as they are available.
Homecoming activities are still planned for next week. Homecoming shirts may still be ordered through this week. The shirt design is being updated to reflect the change and will be posted as soon as it is available. Additional information regarding Homecoming will also be shared as soon as those details are finalized.
We know how much Barton Bear Football means to our students, families, alumni, and community. While the 2026 Senior High season will look different, our priority is providing our student-athletes with the opportunity to compete while keeping their safety at the forefront.

💉 Immunization Clinic Coming September 2 💉
The Arkansas Department of Health will be at Barton School District on Wednesday, September 2 to provide age-specific immunizations for students.
📌 Please note: This clinic is only for immunizations that are recommended based on the student’s age including those commonly due around ages 11–12 and 16. This is NOT a flu shot clinic.
📝 A completed and signed consent form is required for your child to receive an immunization. Students will not be vaccinated without the completed form.
