Dear Barton Parents, We would like to cordially invite you to the Barton Elementary Christmas Concert. The concert will consist of grades Kindergarten through 4th grade. The concert is going to be held on December 19th at 10:00 a.m in the gymnasium. After the concert, you are allowed to take your child home if you sign them out with the teacher. Since it is Christmas, I encourage you to dress your child in the best Christmas outfit you can find! We are looking forward to seeing everybody and the students are very excited to present what they have worked hard to prepare!

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of our colleague and friend, Margaret Brown, who passed away earlier today. Ms. Brown has been a dedicated Barton Bear for 35 years and will be greatly missed by all the students, faculty, and staff she has served over the years. We send our condolences to her family and friends during this difficult time.

BSD Announcements for tomorrow, 11/3/23:
Senior Night is tomorrow, 11/3/23, at 6:15. All football, cheer, and band seniors need to be at the stadium not later than 6:00.
Elementary Cheer Clinic students will perform at the pep rally and halftime during the game tomorrow, 11/3/23. The pep rally starts at 2:30. Cheer Clinic participants need to report beside the band barn 3 minutes before halftime.
BSD wants to help slow the spread of germs! Please check your elementary student's backpack on Friday, 11/3/23, for a pack of Clorox Disinfecting wipes! We encourage parents to wipe high traffic surfaces in your home to help reduce the spread of germs that cause seasonal illnesses!

Barton Bear Cheer Clinic practice today, 11/2/23, has been moved to the cafeteria. Practice will be 3:15 to 4:15! Parents of participants, please pick students up from the cafeteria today at 4:15. We apologize for the changing of the location. Participants will get their shirts today at practice. Please make sure the students wear them tomorrow. Students will perform at the pep rally and halftime during the game tomorrow, 11/3/23. The pep rally starts at 2:30. Cheer Clinic participants need to report beside the band barn 3 minutes before halftime.
