Barton Kindergarten Round-up is tomorrow, 5/23/23 from 8:30 to 3:00 in the Kindergarten Building. Your child must be 5 years old on or before August 1st in order to register for Kindergarten.
Don’t forget to bring:
Birth certificate
Social security card
Shot record
Physical (within last 2 years)
Copy of 2 utility bills reflecting a parent's service address within the Barton School District (Ex: water bill, electric bill, gas bill)
Phillips County Health Department will be set up to assist parents with shot records and forms to request birth certificates.

BSD will run two double bus routes today, 5/17/23. Bus 26 (Mrs. Palmer) and bus 29 (Mr. Travis) will be about 25 minutes late. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Barton Elementary May Day is tomorrow, Friday, May 12th, 9:30 to 11:30 on Frank McClellan Field. Parents and other guests may purchase an armband at the gate. There will be a concession stand if you want to buy snacks or drinks. Concessions are not included with the arm band and is cash only. A sack lunch will be provided for each student at 11:00. If it rains, May Day will be moved to the indoor facility. We are looking forward to a fun-filled day!

BHS Athletic Banquet is also tomorrow, May 4th at 5:30 p.m. in the Kirkland Facility. All 7th-12th grade athletes and their parents/supporters are invited to attend. If you purchased a ticket in advance, dinner will be provided. Some plates will be available to buy at the banquet. Parents and supporters are still welcomed to attend the banquet without a ticket.

Unfortunately, due to the threat of rain on Friday morning, Barton Elementary will be rescheduling May Day for Friday, May 12 at 9:30. If it rains on that day, all activities will be moved to the indoor practice facility. Thank you for supporting our school! 🐻
Tomorrow, April 28th, is the last day to purchase tickets for the Athletic Banquet. We have to have a head count by the end of the day tomorrow!!! Purchase tickets in the high school office for $5.00. All 7th-12th grade athletes (football, volleyball, basketball, track, baseball, softball, cheer, and band) are invited and will be provided dinner.
The 2019-2020 & 2020-2021 yearbook will be combined into one yearbook due to COVID-19. Yearbooks will be available for those who purchased in advance on July 10th in the Elementary office. Pick up from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We apologize for the delay in production and are glad to finally have a date set for pick up! Reminders will be sent out closer to time.

High school state testing week is done!!! Thank you, teachers and students, for working so hard to make sure the testing process was so smooth!
